Reports issued by the Council of Labor Affairs (CLA), state that accidents top the charts when it comes to the causes of injury and death of working women in Taiwan.



Study conducted taking into account the women covered under labor insurance program revealed that most of those seeking claims died or got injured due to accidents that included both ; road accidents and accidents caused while working on machinery.



Does that mean that Taiwanese women are required to get a bit more vigilant while working and take special care of themselves while moving out of the home. With this very view in mind CLA has advised women workers to wear hats and cover their hair, and to avoid wearing scarves while working near machinery.
