Women entrepreneurs from Afghanistan have been received very cordially by the native businesswomen and members of the Legislature in Oklahoma itself. Afghan businesswomen are in the country to gain, ‘Peace Through Business’. The Women Impacting Public Policy Institute in collaboration with the U.S. State Department, U.S. Afghan Women’s Council, and Northwood University is supporting the curriculum. Hasina Rasuli, a surgeon who plans to create a mobile health clinic in rural Afghanistan, articulates that it has been a motivational experience to see women all across the globe helping and working towards common goal. And Neese, head of the Women Impacting Public Policy Institute, said while in Oklahoma, the Afghan women have been guests in homes of Oklahoma businesswomen who have served as personal mentors. Afghan businesswomen are trying their best to cater to the needs of the working women in their nation, hope their work receives a winning memento.
