Gender pay gap seems pertinent in precisely all job sectors in most of the economies. However, this gap seems getting wider as one approaches the high-earning areas of the country.
Affluent areas like South-east London show higher degrees of wage discrimination in comparison to areas such as Northern Ireland. In south east London men earn somewhere around £128 more than women per week, while this gap reduces down to £54 when it comes to Northern Ireland.This is in accordance with the study published in the latest edition of Regional Trends by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
I think, barely laying the facts will do no good the situation, unless the experts provide for some valid reasons and suitable solutions.
