Li Xiang famous TV hostess declared that she has been divorced from her hubi, Li Houlin, a jewelry mogul.
Before this episode, an unidentified man who maintained to be a staff member in Li Houlin’s company stated that the couple’s two-year marriage was in danger. Shortly after this, Li Xiang was seen dining with another man as was revealed by some photos and video clips.
Li Xiang says,
‘It’s true that our marriage is over. I did not say anything earlier because I was afraid of appearing in tabloid headlines, and I didn’t want to affect our day-to-day life.’
Since the Li’s tied a wedlock in January last year, it was rumored that Xiang underwent domestic violence, which was however denied by the couple.
Regarding the divorce, Li Houlin said,
‘We are still friends. I don’t want to have anything to do with showbiz in the future. I think it (divorce) is better for her, and gives her more time on work.’
