Karen Queally is another woman who can be an inspiration for many women and I feel great in talking about her this Women’s Day. Karen is a great runner and was about to be a member of Napa Valley Marathon, when she was diagnosed of Breast Cancer...and she was knocked out.
‘This is the most beautiful marathon,’ she said. ‘Running through the wine country is so spectacular...she would’ve missed it badly, if she had not shown the courage to fight the ailment and get back stronger.
She took all her treatments, with a spirit of getting back to the track and there she is. Right from meditation to getting motivated...she did everything to get back in shape...and yes, she will be running this year again. All thanks to her courage, confidence and strong belief in herself.
I think women who have left all hopes of leading a normal life after getting diagnosed with Breast cancer should find inspiration from Kelly and get ready to fight back. When she can do it so can you. Life has to move on ... get your treatment right and you’ll be all set to rock the world.
