Her children and grand children have carried Christine Bond Pees’ love for children and devotion towards faith forward.
Her one daughter works in the arena of Church in Massena, N.Y, while another daughter offers childcare in Ypsilanti, Mich. Her only son too, is active at Emmanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Export.
The soul left her body on 25th of September.
She received a two-year teaching certificate from Indiana State Teachers College in Indiana County after graduating from Franklin High School in Murrysville in 1929.
In 1938, she got married to George Pees, who was working in American Cyanamid Co. in Bridgeville.
Mr. Pees recalled his wife’s commitment to the Murrysville Monday Musical Group, a group of women who visited senior citizens and shut-ins.
