In order to combat the exploitation that the trafficked women are facing at the moment...it has been stated that if a man is caught using them in saunas, massage parlors, and brothels knowing that she is trafficked can land him in deep waters. Some thing as serious as a rape charge can be made against the man.
Tim Brain, the Chief Constable of Gloucestershire said this at the launch of a campaign against exploitation of trafficked women.
An operation called the Operation Pentameter, women coming by air from Eastern Europe will be given certain cards carrying contact numbers of people to talk to if they are in some kind of problems.
