Despite the fact that an increased number or women are making their way towards the job market with figures that show a marked increase 70% last year, the hard truth that still persists is that they are still earning less in comparison to men for the same kinda job profile.
They are still at a loss of 13% every hour as per report published yesterday by the Office for National Statistics.
Workplace has experienced drastic changes over the years like employment rate falling among men while it is on a sharp rise when it comes to women. Similarrly the proportion of inactive men is increasing while it is showing a downfall when it comes to women.
When we are getting such positive response from women in the corporate sector...and they are putting equal amount of labor irrespective of the fact that they have to lead a dual life...at home and out side...then why are they not being given their due.
This is a question that keeps on coming to the fore in one or the other form...but it’s really sad that no on is there to provide an answer to this.
