There was a time not very late when educated women influenced by extreme feminism wanted divorce to be made easier and liberal. They wanted to lead a life that was free- free of men. But today after 30 years the scene is altogether different. A new research from the United States, has found that their attitudes towards divorce have however changed.



The report shows that women, who are educated, hold university degrees want to have laws that make divorce more difficult. Also it is the least educated social group of the society that favors a liberal attitude towards divorce.

The factors that can be attributed to this change are:



1. They do not want their kids to suffer all what they suffered because of their parents’ separation.



2. Also, family break down initiates social crimes and this is more prevalent if poor families are concerned



Today’s generation supports ‘trying harder’ rather than ‘giving-up’, as far as relationships are concerned. They keep on trying to make things normal and prevent them from reaching to the exhaustion level.



This way I think we are definitely going towards an establishment that will be based on the concept of ‘we’ and ‘us’ rather than ‘I’ or ‘me’.
