However, there are few things, which you should avoid during the phase of an interview, they are:

1. Do not expect that the battle is won when called for an interview. This may instill over confidence in you, which is the worse enemy in any kind of interview. Consequent upon which, you may end up with nothing in hand even after successfully clearing all the previous stages.

2. Interview is your first official visit at the work place. So it is advisable to come in a decent clothing preferably in a business suit.

4. Talk about yourself openly rather being humble will land you nowhere. However, make sure that your self-praise do not exaggerate the truth.

5. Although, it’s a two way process but try to stay away from doing the maximum conversation. Answer the questions thoughtfully and in case you are not able to answer, own up politely.

6. Do not jump directly to the pay package. Let the interviewer take the lead in this.

7. Avoid talking about your previous employer in a negative light or do not state his flaws. This might give a wrong impression on your interviewer.

8. You may ask few questions from your interviewer as well. This will generate positive communications between both the sides.

9. Show some amount of enthusiasm for the interview and for the job as well. And don’t forget to thank the person in the end.
