Ed has newly launched Curvy Riders MCC, which has members all the way from Britain, Ireland and Isle of Man.

Life was not all that simple for Ed, the biker, someone suggested ‘Forget about motorcycling, you’re too small and too light. Find something else.’ But this couldn’t stop her from going ahead...after all she targeted sky as her limit.

Presently, she’s biking Yamaha’s sportster, the R1. However, she stepped into the world of biking with Honda Hornet 250, and next she marked off with a Ducati 620 monster. Subsequently she dived into the sports world with Yamaha R6, before moving up the cc scale to her current R1.

She says,

‘I try to keep my bike immaculate. I ride it throughout the year and on average do about 16,000 to 17,000 miles annually.’

Ed
has left Northern Ireland and is now working as a secretary in the NHS in Scotland. With no history of biking in her family, she was breaking new ground with her first machine.

Talking about her experience she said,

‘I’m very passionate about all things biking and after helping many lady bikers clubs/events promotional wise, I thought it was about time to do something by myself and formed Curvy Riders MCC just over three weeks ago’.

Regarding her club she revealed,

‘The club will offer a relaxed, pressure-free and, most importantly, fun biking experience for members. And the ethos is non-political and non-lobbying with no hidden agendas.’

I really wish luck to Ed and her club since biking is appealing to more and more women so I guess clubs like these will definitely act as a boon for them.
