Women seeking a short term affair would find themselves inclined towards masculine - looking men but if they want to go in for a lifelong partnership, marriage I mean, then they would prefer men with facial features that suggest kindness and trustworthiness, while men who are looking for a short term affair would select women who look more feminine and youthful asserts a study done by psychologists in Britain.
The said conclusion came following a study which corresponds to the responses of some 50 people who were asked to rate their attractiveness for a short-term or long-term relationship, after they were shown 30 photographs of people of opposite sex.
The group was also tested on the parameter of sexually restricted or unrestricted lifestyle. The less sexually restricted women favored faces that happened to be more masculine and healthy, while the less restricted males preferred women who appeared to be more feminine, kinder and trustworthy.
