‘Women are the most important part of my life.’ Said Michel Parmigiani, the founder-owner of the Swiss haute timepiece brand Parmigiani Fleurier. And as a reflection of the thought, he has dedicated an entire collection of watches to women who have inspired him and have always been behind him. The launch will commemorate 30 successful years of the brand’s existence in this watch making business.
The five ladies who have acted as an inspiration for Parmigiani to carve out these eternal timepieces include his daughter, Anne-Laure Parmigiani, a watchmaker, gemmologist and engraver of the collections. The other four include Nancy Thomas, a long-haul pilot and Parmigiani’s official hot-air balloonist; Michelle Veyna, president of Parmigiani U.S; Catia Hofmann, Parmigiani’s international sales manager and Carol Valat, Parmigiani’s designer.
