Now by just taking a mere glance at the hands of women, one would be able to foretell the winner of a race.
Yes, you read it right. According to the British Journal of Sports Medicine, the length of a woman’s ring finger can actually predict her sporting prowess.
The researchers did x- ray of 607 females and concluded that women whose ring finger was longer than index finger excelled in outdoor sports like swimming, cycling, tennis and running.
Tim Spector who led the study at Twin Research Unit in King’s College London asserted that it could also mean dying at a very young age although more research was considered necessary in the field.
I cannot say much about the study but when I saw my fingers, I discovered that my ring finger is longer than the index finger and I was very much into sports during my school and college days (being the school’s sports captain). In addition, I still have great passion for outdoor sports. Does that affirm the aforesaid study?
