A recent survey conducted by Australian teen magazine called “Girlfriend” showed that a majority of teens are subjected to bullying and cyber bullying. Cyber bullying and bullying is a prevalent attack, since the very idea of having fun at the cost of others took over civilized forms in social circles and under the garb of technology. The survey clearly pin-points the fact that it understands the psychology of both the bullied and the one who bullies, with the only difference that the former is under the pressure of depression and the latter has become indifferent to former treatment and have ironically become inclined to subject others to the same treatment.
The survey encourages all the teenage girls who witness or experience such bullying to file a petition in the website of the magazine, so that action can be taken immediately. This should encourage similar magazines in other continents and nations to become more functional by taking up such steps to actually bring a difference in the life of teenage girls.
