According to the American Fortune Magazine, Board Chairperson of Sabanci Holding, Guler Sabanci has grabbed the 11th position amongst ‘50 Most Powerful Women in Business’, last year her rank was 17th in the list.
The magazine asserted that Sabanci’s income has increased by 23% and that the company has inflated its activities in foodstuff retailing where she herself has concentrated in the field operations of energy and banking.
On the other hand, Melek Usta, the director of ‘Colorful People’ and TANNET (Turks Academisch Netwerk) has been nominated as ‘the most successful foreign businesswoman’ in Netherlands.
The Foreign Businesswomen Club due to the rapid growth and professional relations she had activated in her business life presented Melek Usta with an award.
