On Saturday, that is, 16th of September 70 newly commissioned women officers at the Officers’ Training Academy at Chennai, India came out with flying colors.
The day was the Passing Out Parade which marked the end of their civilian life and beginning of an army life.
Lt Neha is of the view that all women should opt for a career in army as it stands out unique and top most among all other professions.
Not only this, the Vice Army Chief, Lt General Pattabhiraman, who recently hit the headlines for reportedly declaring that Army units could do without women, gave a glowing commendation to the newly commissioned officers on Friday.
