The ‘honorable’ acquittal of all the nine prime accused of the murder of Indian model Jessica Lal, by the court is witnessing acute rage and protests from all the nook and corners of the city.



With a view to unite people in order to have the murder case reopened to do justice to Jessica, Indian TV Channel, NDTV is all set to launch an SMS campaign.



It’s called “Fight for Jessica Lal”, which has asked mobile phone users to respond to its short code with a single word Jessica and the message will reach directly to the Indian President Abdul Kalam, seeking an opening up of the case once again.



I hope things fall in shape and late Jessica and her family get the much awaited justice, if this happens we’ll be able to say that SMS’s did at least some good to the society.
