Japan, the second largest economy in the world is far-far behind when it comes to promoting women in the workplace.
Taking the company Hewlett Packard as example, globally women hold 20% of managerial posts with 25% in the US, whereas this count falls to 4% only when it comes to Japan.
Japanese professional women face a number of socially complex issues like overt sexism and deeply laid attitudes towards division of labor. These kinds of problems accompanied by lack of confidence leads to the less exposure to women.
C’mon women keep up with the economical standing of your nation...you have to and you can do wonders...just trust your own self, develop your self esteem and the world will be yours.
