Ace actress Nicole Kidman is all set to come in to the shoes of a social activist. Yes, the lady will now work for a social cause. She has become a U.N. goodwill ambassador for women this Thursday. Fighting against domestic violence, human trafficking and AIDS all over the world will be her working areas.
Kidman who feels that there exists enormous possibility to change the world said “I hope that this will be a lifelong commitment for me.’
An ambassador for U.N. Children’s Fund UNICEF already, Kidman got interested in UNIFEM, during the making of last year’s “The Interpreter,” which happened to be the first movie ever filmed at U.N. headquarters.
I wish Kidman all the very best for the cause she is supporting, truly there’s still a lot to be done for women all over the world. And No one else can do this job better than women like Nicole Kidman who are better placed in the society.
