Carolyn Washington asserted that she has been ‘the chosen one’ by God himself who has given her responsibility for lending a helping hand to the women folk.
Thus in order to accomplish this task, she established Sisters 4 Sisters, Inc., seven years ago.
This year, the organization contributed more than 800 pairs of new undergarments to a women’s shelter, more than 500 back-to-school items to families in need, passed out Thanksgiving baskets to single mothers and other women in need, and donated business attire to aspiring businesswomen.
Washington allocates her resources to the similar organizations as well. More than 200 volunteers assist her altruistic operation.
Sisters 4 Sisters, Inc. has more than 200 members in 30 states across the country. Lately she is planning to help the Hispanic women.
