A news journal has speculated that ‘men will be likely to earn more money than women for almost 150 years’. Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) is of the view that men earn 20 percent more than women by the age of 30.
As a consequence of which the centre has accused the government for neglecting the situation and also drew focus to the view that women are being condemned for insignificant reasons like, taking career breaks for child rearing or giving priority to work.
Alan Manning, London School of Economics professor and the report’s author, said:
Experian, an information solutions company states that a female director than the male counterpart often heads a profit making business but men are exceeding the ratio by three to one.We are used to each generation of women making progress relative to the one before. But this process has slowed with the current generation doing only slightly better then the previous one. It will take 150 years for the gap to disappear.
