According to a research, women players make two-thirds of mobile phone games. More than 65% of total mobile phone game revenue comes from the female subscribers.
The research, conducted by Telephia, stated that casual natured games appealed to women more than other action packed games popular among men, since they are not the hard-core gamers traditionally.
The games that are hot among the female group include Tetris, Tetris Deluxe, Bejeweled and Jamdat Mahjong.
