A recent survey conducted by women’s magazine More, brought some alarming results for the ’spendthrift’ young female population, which has a tendency of spending even more than what they earn. And an extravagant lifestyle comes at the cost of essential savings including pension and retirement benefits.
The survey revealed that one out of five women aged between 21 and 25 is going beyond her means every moth in the blind race of copying their favorite celebrities.
Figures show that an average of £15,028 is spent on the not so important stuff like fashion, beauty and entertainment. Highlighting all this, I nowhere mean to stop women from indulging in recreations to do away with the tension and burden arising out of the multitasking life that they are engulfed in, but just want to draw their attention towards the other important areas where they should divert their hard-earned money.
