Small Business Administration has put forward the ranks of 50 states by percentage growth in the number of women owned business.
Nevada reported the most increase in the women owned business. Followed by Georgia then Florida, New York and North Carolina.
According to 2002 records, women owned 6.5 million companies which accounted for for 7.1 million workers and an annual payroll of $173.7 billion.
