Sony Erricson has launched its new clamshell handset, the Jalou,for the urban fashionista. The company has also tied up with Dolce and Gabbana for a limited - edition version of the Jalou. The handset is very stylish and amazingly compact measuring a mere 73mm in length. Other features include Bluetooth support, video recording, 3.2MP camera, integrated FM radio, 3G, A-GPS for geotagging, ActiveSync Exchange support and an integrated pedometer. The D&G edition is simply gorgeous and features a screen which doubles as face mirror to fix makeup anytime. It has a beautiful rose-color finish and 24k gold plating. Other goodies included are the Dolce and Gabbana headset with gold accents and 3 satin bags. The interface would help you connect to latest gossip blogs and fashion themes. Price has not been revealed yet but is expected to be on the higher side with a premium on the D&G edition. The handset will probably land the shores in late September or early October.
