Recently the U.S Air Force issued a set of guidelines for its female personnel in relation to their dressing sense and fashion statements that they made.
One of these was a rule that they cannot hold their mobile phones in their right hand...for that is needed for saluting. I don’t think they keep on saluting the whole day long. Also the cell phones should be conservative in style...This looks something really tough.
Some other rules include the probation of “extreme” nail polish colors. Also they do not allow women to shave off their heads if they plan to stay in Air force and no rings on Thumbs please.
If they wear sunglasses they should be perched on the nose and not dangling in the neck or perched on the head.
The basic idea behind all this is to keep all the attention on the uniform and avoid any thing that can act as a distraction in that attention...for they are in military.
