She is the first Black African female racecar driver. After competing in the PSCA Racing Series, the So Cal Super Street, and the Pontiac Drag Days Series, she is aiming for BUSCH Series at NASCAR.

Lyons main event is the straightaway quarter mile drag, booking at speeds of 160 mph plus. Black belt in karate is another such achievement in her pocket.
