Women make a considerable part of the Korean workforce. Stats show that that this number has swelled a great deal in past a few years, but still they are not being offered something that’s mandatory for an employee to feel content with, I am talking about job security.
Figures show that day laborers (who have least job security) accounted for 1.13 million of the total female work force and this is enough to give a glimpse of the current job market.
In such a scenario, where the economy is banking so much on it’s female workforce, don’t you think, even they have some rights to feel secure about the work in which they are investing their time, their energy and life.
