After electing Michelle Bachelet in Chile... Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf in Liberia... Angela Merkel in Germany ...it looks that the scene is ripe enough to see some more f women power on the political throne of the world. Does this somewhere hint to the probability of having a women president for the world superpower United States?
Yes, it does of course, Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., the former first lady, is once again in action with a view to return to the White House, but this time as boss.
At the moment, Clinton is going in for re-election to her Senate seat in New York, and she has also gathered a multimillion-dollar campaign war chest that’s enough to give a boost to 2008.
In case she becomes the President...she’ll definitely have an edge over others and that is that she’ll always have experienced opinion of her experienced husband former President Bill Clinton.
I think it will be a fresh change to have a women president...and as far as her performance and capability is concerned, I think it’s quite visible from the decision of electing other females to the top notch political positions in other countries.
