Spain will again witness the coming of second baby in the royal family since Princess Letizia, wife of Prince Felipe, is expecting her second child.
According to the sources, the second child will be a baby girl, which’ll further pose question to the issue of succession as Spain like Japan follows the patriarchal family system.
However, Princess Leonor, their first child, who celebrated her birthday on 31st of October, will get her li’le sis by May next year.
The government is looking forward into the matter of heir, according to which, they’ll repeal Article 57, which makes male succession a preference, but it had been a cause of concern that a male heir would be born before the constitutional reforms could take effect.
The revelation that the newcomer will be a princess, however, means that Leonor is still set to become the future Queen of Spain.
