Oprah Winfrey -the unrivalled queen of the chat-shows has indeed emerged out as a phenomenon in herself. The lady is no less than an institution. Started off with a chat-show, the Oprah brand has graduated into a magazine, a TV channel and a Film Production company as well. Today she’s at such a position where she can make r break careers, or products.
The Oprah Winfrey show the so called touchy-feely show celebrated its twentieth anniversary last week. Despite being an odd one out in the world of glamour the lady has carved out a niche for herself. Mainstream America where body beautiful is worshipped, Oprah struggled with her weight and made it to the Top. When the minorities are struggling she was the one who came as a force... a strong one despite being black.
Oprah made the show her weapon to reshape the world...and built an empire on a more socially conscious tone. We’ll always admire this socially liberal lady broadcasting from the American heartland.
