USB wink device to help you fight sleep during nightshifts

February 15th, 2012

This USB peripheral device by Matsunaga will bring you back to consciousness when you unknowingly doze off on your paper work in the wee hours of the morning or graveyard shifts. All you need to do is clip them to your glasses when using the computer, and if you don’t wink every five seconds, it will start fogging your spectacles. Irritating? I know, but it might be your only chance to complete that deadline by noon. It has work for 8 hours wirelessly with the help of two watch batteries; otherwise just let it use the USB power by wire. It’s a great way to fight sleep unless you get so annoyed that you detach and throw it away, in semi-consciousness of course. After all, it’s hard to resist those heavenly in-between work naps. Besides, it will cost you a small fortune with the wink device priced at $167 and classy glasses at $265, the product will first hit Japanese market, so we will just have to wait. Yawn.
