A recent article amazingly reveals the fact that the left party in the UK represents parents with a feminist viewpoint. This has been revealed by a survey conducted by British Household Panel Survey for the years 1991 to 2004, where 77 percent of the parents having daughters, voted for the ‘left’. Left has the liberalist viewpoint and this incorporates the idea of collectivism, which as per Professor Andrew Oswald of the University of Warwick and Dr Nattavudh Powdthavee of the London Institute of Education, represents women.
But where the leftist inclination takes an U-turn in where the daughters cease to be collectivists and become individualists with rise in their own social status and therefore with a lack of representation the ‘left’ is pushed to the extreme corners of political concerns. The feminist viewpoint is challenged when women lack interest in representing their own community with a disciplined mindset.
