More than 30 women have entered the Birds on Bikes tour from Edinburgh to Cardiff, which will run over three days from 8 September.
Ed Crummy, who is helping to organize the event, said it was a way of raising the profile of lady bikers in the UK.
Birds on Bikes are encouraging women bikers throughout the UK to sign up for part or the entire event and insist the pace will be relaxed, motorway free and well marshaled.
