An overview of the corporate sector can clearly show that women are actually making an effort to rise up on the corporate ladder, by gaining both educational qualification as well as experience.



But, the flip side of the same coin is that they are not given their due recognition, on the contrary they have to bear the brunt due to the fact that some of them rise up even higher than their husbands.



Yes, this in deed the harsh but crude byproduct of success. Quite a number of women placed on higher on the hierarchical structure in South Africa, literally begged their bosses not to raise their salaries, as they might have to get beaten at the hands of their hubbies who earn comparatively less than them.
