A research conducted to calculate the number of hours an individual gave to his leisure activities over the years since 1965, revealed that women showed a marked increase in leisure during this period.

Despite the fact that they entered into the arena of Jobs, still they managed to have leisure to the same extent that man had.

This gain in leisure time can be traced to the removal of cooking and cleaning work scene from a women’s life. As more and more began to use the latest gadgets for cooking and cleaning, they had more time for leisure.

The conveniences available to women now in terms of restaurants and eating joints plus the home appliances have given them plenty of leisure time which was not there way back 1965. At that time women had to devote considerable amount of time at home despite working outside due to the absence of the technology that is present time.
