The study called, “A Decade of Changes in the Accounting Profession: Workforce Trends and Human Capital Practices,” says that an increased number are taking up leadership positions in public accounting firms. Alternative career paths offered by many firms are getting popular among accountants was another finding of the study.



The study revealed figures that showed that women make 19% of all firm partners today while it was 12% ten years ago.

The study conducted in collaboration with the American Institute of CPAs Work/Life and Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee talked about a wide range of issues including career advancement, turnover and mentoring. You can read the detailed study here.
